Rick Astley opens up on his traumatic childhood in new memoir

In 1987 Rick Astley erupted on to the music scene with Never Gonna Give You Up, the biggest single of that year. And while a recent career revival has brought unexpected joy, it is his troubled childhood that really hits home from his memoir. CHARLOTTE HEATHCOTE reports
