EU to suspend U.S. tariff retaliation, will look for a deal with Trump by Aug. 1

The European Union has paused retaliatory tariffs on the U.S. in hopes of negotiating a trade deal with the Trump by Aug. 1 to avoid a new 30 per cent tariff.
