Conan O'Brien appeared to criticize U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday upon accepting the Mark Twain Prize for humour at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The veteran comedian was named as this year's recipient about three weeks before Trump's controversial overhaul of the cultural centre. 'Twain hated bullies.... He punched up, not down,' O'Brien said.
