Liberal MPs gather in B.C. to confront a new political landscape

In early July, amid a frenzied response to by-election results in Toronto-St. Paul’s, Liberal caucus chair Brenda Shanahan had to shoo away calls for a special meeting of MPs to discuss the state of the party and the government. Two months later, Liberal MPs will meet at the party's caucus retreat.
