At the end of the year, several tech platforms release “year in review” features for their users. For Spotify, that means Spotify Wrapped, which allows music lovers to see the songs they’ve listened to most often over the course of the year. Apple offers something similar in Apple Music Replay.

Another popular year-in-review recap comes from Snapchat, which releases its Snapchat Recap feature every December. And now we know exactly when this year’s Snapchat Recap will launch.

When will Snapchat Recap 2024 be available?

Today, Snap announced its Snapchat trends report, titled “2024 in a Snap.” The report revealed some of the most popular trends on Snapchat throughout 2024. Among the report’s revelations were that over 262 million hours of beauty content were viewed on Snapchat Spotlight worldwide this year.

When it came to music, “Friday, I’m in Love” by The Cure and “Million Dollar Baby” by Tommy Richman were the top tracks used in the creation of Snaps this year. The most shared music lens was Charli XCX’s 360 Lens.

In addition to the “2024 in a Snap” report, Snap also revealed that its 2024 Snapchat Recap will become available on Tuesday, December 17.

How do I get my Snapchat Recap 2024 year-end story?

Starting on December 17, all Snapchat users will be able to view their Snapchat Recap 2024 year-end story.

This year, to view your recap, you simply need to swipe up from the Camera.

There you will find your Snapchat Recap, featuring your favorite Memories from 2024. As in past years, you can also share your recap with friends and have the option to personalize it before you do.
